WordCamp Europe 2013, held in Leiden, Netherlands on October 5-7, was by all accounts a smashing success. We’d love to see another event this year! Unlike most other WordCamps, the organizing team for WordCamp Europe was staffed by experienced WordCamp organizers from WordPress communities throughout Europe.
Not all the organizers from 2013 are able to contribute to WordCamp Europe 2014, so there are some openings on this year’s team. Based on what worked well last year, we’d like every member of the WordCamp Europe organizing team to have helped organize at least one WordCamp in the past. If you are interested in joining the organizing team for WordCamp Europe 2014, please fill out this application to let us know how you’d like to help.
If you have an active WordPress community that would like to host WordCamp Europe 2014, please fill out this application and include all the reasons you think your town would be a great place to hold the event. We’d like to know how it would benefit your community, how it would benefit the WordPress community in Europe, and how it would benefit the overall WordPress community to organize WordCamp Europe in your town. And of course it never hurts to know some pricing for your local 800 person venues.
WordCamp Central will review all applications with the group of last year’s organizing team which is carrying over to 2014 and announce the results by February 15.
Those are the same application forms for organizing ‘regular’ WordCamps, are they OK?
Yes; it’s a good way to get baseline information, and then we’ll make requests for additional info as needed. :)

1. for these ones who are interested in joining the organizing team for WordCamp Europe 2014
2. for these ones who have an active WordPress community that would like to host WordCamp Europe 2014
but actuality the form under both links is the same.
Suppose I would like to apply to join the organizing team for WordCamp Europe 2014 but I don’t want to host WordCamp Europe 2014. Should I fill in the whole form anyway?
Fill out the form with the information relevant to your joining the organizing team only; but do keep in mind that we want to know about your involvement in the WordPress community in your area. :)
