WordCamp US 2015, held December 4-6 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has opened a first round of ticket sales. This three day event features 2 days of scheduled content and 1 contributor day. The cost is $40.

Are these camps appropriate and helpful for those with absolutely no experience? I’m just learning HTML and getting started in the WordPress world.
I am a newbie with no tech background working on getting my first website up and running. I just finished attending WordCamp Las Vegas this weekend and it was Awesome! While there was a lot of info that was more technical and over my head, I gained plenty of insight and information that will help someone with very little experience.
In addition, the opportunity to get to meet and talk to lots of people at all different levels of experience and involvement and hear their stories of how they got started was invaluable for the help and inspiration it provides.
