WordCamp is celebrating a big milestone! Our 10th consecutive WordCamp! And we want you to be there with us.
WordCamp Miami 2018 is happening March 16-18, 2018 at Florida International University. WordCamp Miami is one of the larger camps in North America with last year’s attendees from a diverse range of ages (8 to 80), backgrounds, and experiences.
Our early bird tickets sold out, but our next round of tickets is open now! We have tickets for the weekend and our Friday workshops, with tickets for kids workshops (for both Saturday and Sunday) coming soon.
Miami is known for it’s warm sunshine and beaches but also for it’s diverse population… and we will have over 60 speakers from diverse backgrounds from South Florida and all over the world. Check out our 2016 and 2017 videos to get a taste of what WCMIA is all about. Here are some teasers:
– Friday (March 16th) workshops covering beginner topics, ecommerce, and “the future of WordPress” and Gutenberg for developers.
– Our 3rd year of “Learn JavaScript Deeply” track for those wanting to learn more about JavaScript.
– Kid’s workshops for both Saturday/Sunday plus a kid’s panel, talks, and more planned!
– Talks focusing on both basic and advanced WordPress features, enhancements, marketing, security, SEO, design, Google Analytics and more.
– Dedicated business track with some wonderful guest speakers and panelists from the WordPress community.
– Speakers from the “outside the bubble” to share perspectives from non-WordPress communities.
– BBQ, hydrogen-frozen ice cream, and more good food.
– Great networking and social events.
We can’t wait to show you everything that we are planning. Add WordCamp Miami to your calendar, grab a ticket before we sell out, and we look forward to seeing you!
