WordCamp NYC opens registration, calls for speakers

If you can’t wait to get your ticket for WordCamp NYC, then don’t! Registration opened yesterday, and the call for speakers was posted this morning. If you don’t want to speak at the event but would like to recommend someone to speak, they’ve also opened a “reverse” call for speakers as well, which will be open until April 23.

WordCamp NYC is a big event, but also pretty darned popular. Don’t put off buying your ticket — you don’t want to miss all the WordPress fun!

WordCamp Brighton organizing team drops out of planning

Sadly, the WordCamp Brighton organizing team has concluded that they can’t pull together WordCamp this year; they’re hoping to resume planning in 2015. In the meantime, check out the local Brighton WordPress meetup. If you’re interesting in helping organize WordPress community events in Brighton, helping with the local meetup is a great place to start.
