About
WordCamp Nairobi 2026 marks the 11th edition of Africa’s longest-running WordPress conference. From the first gathering in Naivasha back in 2011 to our recent events in the heart of Nairobi, the conference has spent over a decade bringing Kenya’s open web community together. It remains the main annual meeting point for local developers, visual designers, agency heads, writers, and curious newcomers from across East Africa and beyond.
Across two full days, the schedule features 20 speakers leading talks, practical sessions, and hands-on workshops focused on everyday web development, design systems, and digital business. With over 200 attendees traveling in from more than 10 countries, the focus stays strictly practical: honest peer discussions, genuine networking, and practical skills you can use right away, all backed by hot meals and accessible ticket prices for everyone.
