WordCamp Sylhet 2026 Is Back — With a Simpler, Community-First Approach
We are delighted to officially announce that WordCamp Sylhet 2026 will take place on October 2–3, 2026, in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Following the successful WordCamp Sylhet events in 2023 and 2024, we are excited to bring the WordPress community together once again. This year, however, we are taking a more focused and thoughtful approach.
As WordCamps have grown, events can sometimes become more focused on production, merchandise, and presentation. For WordCamp Sylhet 2026, we want to return the spotlight to what makes a WordCamp truly valuable: meaningful knowledge, genuine conversations, and strong community connections.
Our direction for this year includes:
✅ Less show, more substance
We plan to reduce unnecessary merchandise and encourage our sponsors to follow a simpler, more purposeful approach.
✅ Practical and valuable sessions
Our goal is to deliver useful talks, real experiences, and actionable knowledge for the WordPress community.
✅ Meaningful connections
Attendees will have more opportunities to meet new people, exchange ideas, build friendships, and connect properly with sponsors and community members.
✅ A simple and focused experience
No unnecessary production or extravagance—just a welcoming venue, valuable talks, good food, and great people.
We believe the heart of every WordCamp has always been its people. In 2026, we want to place the community at the centre of the experience once again.
